Solo Flight//Finals

So I am SOO proud of my WONDERFUL husband Jacob Olson! He passed his Solo Flight tests!! All 3! So now he can fly by himself! (He has to do everything the instructor says, but he can still do it by himself! :) One step closer to Privates and finishing altogether! (I think I am more hopeful for the finish than I should be...He still has 4 years!) Oh man!

Not only that but I finished another semester of school! Of COURSE I did great! I have one final semester with only 2 classes that I need, and then I had to take 2 electives due to the Scholarship I recieved! I am so excited to finally be closer to finishing, however it is starting to hit me that I am going to be done soon, which means student teaching soon...which means I do it all on my own! AHH!! SO SCARY! I don't know if I am ready enough for that! I guess we will find out! Good thing one of my classes is the Senior Practicum, which is basically student teaching but only 2 days and half the credits. I guess that will better prepare me for the final semester! Thank goodness! SO NERVOUS!

Life couldn't be better, and I couldn't be more grateful for such a loving, hardworking, handsome husband who really supports me and cares for me! He is so great and I am so lucky! I know that things are just going to keep on getting better! It has been 2 and a half years since we were happily married in the Washington D.C. Temple! Each day just keeps getting better! :) Love you sweetie!

Happily Forever...

I married my best friend. Jacob Olson is the best man in the world. We have so much fun together, even if it means we are just sitting in front of the T.V. being lazy. He works so hard and is so strong. I am so proud of him and I hope he knows how much I truly love him.

I can't believe that it has been two and a half years since we were married for all eternity (LONG WAYS TO GO!) :) I can't believe that I got so lucky with such a loving, sweet, and amazing man.

I love my husband, everything about him. Thank you sweetie, for being so amazing! <3 You are the greatest man in the world. Thanks for loving me and being so great to me! :)

Happy Fourth

Fun in the Sun!!
Jesse wanted to be next to us, sleeping on my arm was the next best thing

Happy Fourth to everyone! I hope you all had just as much fun as we did on the fabulous day we spend to celebrate our countries freedom!

So Sleepy!

Wild hair, wild ride!
Our Visitor...

Hot hubby! :)

First, Jake and I headed to his brother Josh's house for a BBQ. We played with the kids, visited with family, and enjoyed some delicious food. Afterwards we went to get our pups and took them for a walk around the river. They were so good and it was so fun! (Except getting sunburned!)

Me and Danie!

MWA!
We took the babies home and got the Harley Davidson. It was so funny driving that with two camping chairs sitting on my lap in the back.

Once we were there we sat around waiting for the fireworks with more friends and family. At about 10:00 when it got dark the extraordinary show began. It was truly magnificent, although I was jealous that my parents were sitting on the Hudson river for their fireworks show! UNFAIR!

Overall the whole day was wonderful and peaceful!

I loved having the day off from school and work to spend with my wonderful husband!

Beautiful!

Love it!

Anxiously Awaiting...

Today (June 29th, 2011) at 8:28 in the a.m. I got a phone call from my brother David Thorne stating that he is submitting his mission papers on July 17th! We should find out by July 27th or so where he is going! I am SO excited for him!

He is the best big brother anyone can ask for, and I am so lucky to have him as mine! :) He has always be there for me and has supported me. I am so thankful that he is who he is and that he loves me and our family so very much! He is such a hard worker and I couldn't be more excited for him! CONGRATS DAVE! :)You are going to make a great missionary!

Not only that but my wonderful husband is one step closer to getting his Solo's license for helicopter training. I am so proud of him! His Stage 1 test was Monday and he got a 97%! SO impressive! He is so smart and just an awesome guy! I definitely cannot wait til school is completely over (in 4 years) but he is definitely off to a great start! Love you sweetie!!

I Definitely Rock These glasses!
Looking Gooooodd!

As a young couple it is important to have time with each other that is not just sitting at home in front of the TV. It is so important that we go out and enjoy each other. Jake and I decided to go out and have some fun. We took his dads Harley out for a ride for about 2 hours, then went home to wait...

At about 9:30 left to go and see the movie Cars 2! Not just see the movie, but see it in 3D!! The movie was supposed to start at 10:10, but it didn't start until 10:40! ridiculous! Previews didn't even start until 10:30! There were only 10 people total (including us) in the entire theater! LOVED IT! Except the part where Jake and I started to fall asleep because we haven't stayed up that late in YEARS! We MUST be married! haha. Despite the late night, it was the greatest night EVER!

"babies" first swim

So we have struggled with our pups (who are labs) that do not like water! We take them swimming in the lake, but they hate it. Not too long after getting them in the water they are frantically trying to climb on you (leaving many scratch marks ALL OVER) and wanting out.

I took the little farts to the baseball field by the church to go run, but the gate was open (and I did not know) and they got out! After running after them, realizing I couldn't catch them, and starting to run back, they came darting after me. I noticed that they were wet! There is a creek right by the field, and I assumed they jumped in or fell in. So I took them back! I wanted to see if they would go swimming again for me!

Sure enough they jumped right into the creek and started swimming. Jesse got kind of nervous because of the small current that she couldn't swim against very well. I walked with her while she swam and it was so funny and cute! I loved it! I was super excited, so later that night I took them back again with Jake, but I think they had enough and decided not to swim, but to run away into the neighborhood nearby. Oh well. Maybe another time! :)
